Winter Festivals Happening in Michigan This Weekend

Bundle up and spend time outside at one of the many local winter festivals happening all throughout Metro Detroit this weekend. From ice carvings to petting farms and plenty of live entertainment, find fun for all ages.

The Dexter Ice Fest is committed to spreading the word about our Dexter Businesses and helping our community thrive through event outreach and marketing efforts. We have partnered up with Ice Dream Sculptures, who creates the most beautiful ice sculptures.
WINTER FEST

@ Burgess-Shadbush Nature Center
Head to the Nature Center for a fun-filled day of snow-related games and activities. Weather permitting, take part in the snow fort contest. If you need a minute to warm up, there will be a fire going in the fire ring for hot dogs, buns, marshmallows and roasting sticks. There will also be winter crafts and hot chocolate inside.

A whole day of fun at Warren’s Cold Rush! Activities throughout the day include ice carving, ice skating, Elsa & Anna visits, petting zoo, gaming trailer, bon fires to keep you warm, hot cocoa & smore’s and more!

Warm up by oversized outdoor fires, enjoy hot seasonal alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, make s’mores on our custom marshmallow roasters, grab a sled from the Sled Shed (featuring free sleds when it snows), play synthetic ice curling and more.
Take a day trip to Grand Rapids and experience World of Winter! The FREE outdoor festival is fun for all ages and takes place daily downtown along the Grand Riverfront!
