Go on a magical fairy door scavenger hunt in Metro Detroit with your little ones. These amazingly creative displays are fun for kids to find and make a perfect outdoor adventure for this summer!

Urban Fairies (Downtown Ann Arbor)

The fairy doors in downtown Ann Arbor are the most popular Metro Detroit fairy doors and well worth checking out! After your fairy door scavenger hunt is over head to the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum for an afternoon of hands on play and learning.

Fairy Doors of Berkley (Downtown Berkley)

The Fairy Doors of Berkley are scattered throughout downtown Berkley and each fairy door is uniquely amazing. Take a break from searching for fairy doors and grab a sweet treat from either Clark’s Ice Cream or Sweet Essentials

Linden Park Trail Fairy House (Birmingham)

If you’re looking for a simple “fairy house” tucked away on a beautiful local trail, look no further than the Linden Park Trail in Birmingham. About halfway through the trail you’ll find an adorable fairy home set up on a tree stump with cute little trinkets.

Aziza Fairy Doors at Palmer Park (Detroit)

Walk the trail to find the 30 different fairy houses! And while at Palmer Park check out one for our favorite Detroit playgrounds!

Seven Lakes State Park (Holly)

Keep your eyes peeled because tucked away along the Green Trail Loop at Seven Lakes State Park you’ll find a few “fairy homes” hidden among the trees. The trail is beautiful but keep in mind that it has rolling hills and is a 2.25 mile loop – pack water, lots of snacks and a hiking baby carrier for those with little legs.
