Pull out your bikes, strollers, and scooters and head to Hines Drive for Saturday morning recreation at Hines Drive in Westland. Wayne County Parks’ popular Saturday in the Park program is back for 2023.

Start your weekend off right and spend time outside exploring the 6 mile thoroughfare at Hines Drive. Every Saturday until September 30th will see the 6 miles from Nankin Mills to Outer Drive closed to the motor vehicles allowing for safe open street usage by pedestrians and cyclists. It’s the perfect place to meet up with friends, teach your kids to bike or simple soak up the sun. Parking is available at Nankin Mills (33325 Edward N Hines Dr, Westland, MI 48185).
