Maybury Farm is a working farm with a mission to connect the community to animals and agriculture through hands-on experiences that are both engaging and educational.  Situated on 85 acres of farmland and forest, the opportunities to enjoy and learn about Michigan farming, agriculture and habitats is endless!

On the Farm we care for dozens of farm animals who provide opportunities to teach kids about the role of animals in providing food and fiber, a U-Pick farm garden full of fresh veggies, a farm-themed playground, large picnic area, and a General Store with delicious eats and gifts including Michigan-made maple syrup and honey from our Maybury Farm honeybee hives!

Maybury Farm offers educational tours that are enjoyed by thousands of children from all over Southeast Michigan each year.  Our tours are designed to integrate with Michigan science standards – but don’t tell that to the kids!  We want them to have such fun, hands-on experiences that they don’t even realize we are teaching them science!

Throughout the year, the Farm offers a variety of events and activities for people of all ages.  From our Making Maple Syrup tours in March, FarmFest in June, summer Day Camp for kids ages 5-12, Great Pumpkin Festival and Corn Maze in the fall, and Santa visits in December, there is always an exciting event to look forward to at Maybury Farm!
