Top Winter Activities in Detroit

Winter is coming, but that doesn’t mean cabin fever has to follow. Here’s a guide to fun activities the entire family can enjoy indoor or outdoor, sunshine or snow!
Get Cultured
- Spend Friday night @ the DIA Drawing in the Galleries with supplies provided by museum and inspiration provided by the art
- Travel around the world and through time @ the Michigan Science Center’s 1001 Inventions Exhibit (special exhibit ends Jan. 7th)
- Admission is FREE @ the Charles H. Wright Museum on the second Sunday of each month
- Figure out How Does that Work? @ the Dossin Great Lakes Museum
- W.O.W. (Wild Over Wednesday) the Outdoor Adventure Center offers free admission the last Wednesday of each month between 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

- Bowling, Fowling or both! Rock the lanes at Garden Bowl or try something new @ the Fowling Warehouse (i.e. bowling with a football!)
