Don’t miss one of our favorite days of the year! On Sunday, October 28, children aged 12 and younger can follow clues to explore the museum while searching out treats and games throughout the museum, enjoy free refreshments and make a Halloween craft to take home. BIRMINGHAM PUMPKIN PATCH & HALLOWEEN PARADE

Dress your children in their Halloween costumes and let the fun begin! The Pumpkin Patch event is hosted by the Junior League of Birmingham. THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR & OTHER ERIC CARLE FAVORITES

Three beloved stories by Eric Carle, award-winning children’s book illustrator and author, are retold on stage through the magic of black light and fanciful puppets. The Very Hungry Caterpillar follows the wonderful adventures of a very tiny and very hungry caterpillar as he eats his way through an amazing variety of foods on his path to becoming a beautiful butterfly.

 

TRICK OR TREAT TRAIL

Sunday, October 28 / 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm

@ Clawson City Park

Children in costume, accompanied by an adult, are invited to trick or treat on the wood chip trail in the park. Trick or treat stations are provided by local businesses and groups. Bring a flashlight and bag for candy! Donuts and cider provided in the pavilion, following the trail.
