The talented students at Detroit Country Day School will perform “Peter and the Starcatcher.” Join us aboard the ship the Never Land as we encounter marauding pirates and jungle kings, Victorian nannies and vicious crocodiles, high-minded villains and unlikely heroes, in a world where all can discover, by the light of the stars, who they truly want to be.

El Dia de los Muertos is a festive traditional celebration of faith, family and culture, and we celebrate for several days! Experience a traditional celebration of El Dia de los Muertos! We’ll have traditional foods for sale, crafts, face-painting, and more fun, including a talent show full of our skilled Hispanic community leading song, dancing, and other art. You’re free to visit our ofrendas as well.

 

SUPERHERO PARTY

A couple of your child’s favorite superheroes American Hero and Spider Hero will be hosting a party. The superheroes will perform and show off their cool moves. There will be superhero group training and photo opportunity with the heroes. Also, a party isn’t a party without balloon swords and a little sword fighting with their favorite hero. Parents must stay for the entire party.

 

AMERICAN GIRL SLUMBER PARTY

Bring your American Girl Doll or one of your favorite dolls, a sleeping bag, pillow and wear your favorite pajamas to the best slumber party in town. Make a no-sew sleeping bag for your doll, then get comfy in your sleeping bag with popcorn and a drink. We will watch the movie “MaryEllen 1955: Extraordinary Christmas”.  All girls will be entered into a raffle for prizes at the end of the night.

 

MACY’S FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR AND SANTA ARRIVAL
