The 3-day festival features a Carnival, exotic animal petting zoo, live music, historical tours, beer tent, parade, kids crafts, fireworks on satuirday night, a classic car show and many other events and attractions!

 

DOOM OF THE DINOSAURS

The temporary Doom of the Dinosaurs exhibition allows visitors to view the impressive fossil casts of the last known dinosaurs to roam Earth, including the Tyrannosaurus Rex and Edmontosaurus. The dinosaur scene includes a dozen dinosaur casts that will leave your littles in awe, while offering hands-on activities to help them learn too.

The Detroit Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a Camping Leadership Immersion Course (CLIC) Training is designed to provide leaders with the skills and resources to plan and lead a youth camping trip in Scout Hollow. During the 28-hour Leadership Training, teachers and leaders practice front country camping skills and familiarize themselves with Rouge Park’s natural, historical, and cultural resources.

 

FARMINGTON HILLS CAMPOUT

For one night we’re creating a campground in Heritage Park and offering families the opportunity to give camping a try!
