ANN ARBOR SUMMER FESTIVAL

The Ann Arbor Summer Festival takes over the University of Michigan campus June 14 – July 7 with over 175 events for all ages! The Festival features a dedicated KidZone for the youngest festival-goers. the KidZone tent provides a fun and safe area for children and their parents to discover and explore a wide variety of hands-on activities with different community partners.

SALUTE TO AMERICA

@ Greenfield Village, Dearborn

Red, white and blue-festooned buildings; classic summer tastes; fifes and drums and fireflies are the backdrop for the most robust expression of the Fourth of July. Listen to the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and the United States’ Army Band and Soldier’s chorus illuminate the atmosphere with beautiful music as the sky lights up with fireworks each night.

The Oakland County Fair has a great lineup of events and fun activities for the whole family, including fireworks, demo derbies, Figure 8 racing, Monster Trucks and animals. Plus there are events that last the whole 10 days of Fair. And don’t forget the Carnival rides and all that awesome fair food.

DOOM OF THE DINOSAURS

The temporary Doom of the Dinosaurs exhibition allows visitors to view the impressive fossil casts of the last known dinosaurs to roam Earth, including the Tyrannosaurus Rex and Edmontosaurus.
