Top Things to Do With Kids in Plymouth

Known as one of Metro’s Detroit’s prettiest cities, Plymouth is a lovely place to enjoy art, entertainment, and parks. Meet friends and family for an adventure in Plymouth.

Things To Do

See A Game or A Movie @ USA Hockey Arena

USA Hockey Arena offers the most fun for families all year long. Watch Team USA hockey play teams from across the country and around the world from October to April. Sign up for skating lessons or stop by for open skate. And cozy up in the summer for a double-feature in your car at one of the only drive-in theaters in Michigan!

Perfect Summer Day

Let the kids run around McClumpha Park’s multiple playgrounds, including the 24 feature Sprayscape, then cool off with some ice cream from the Dairy King downtown.

Get Creative @ Makers ‘N Shakers

Sign your littles up for a class or stop in on a Community Maker Day for artist inspiration and STEAM education.

Pick Apples & Pumpkins @ Plymouth Orchards

Since 1977, Plymouth Orchards & Cider Mill has been the local cider mill for families to enjoy fresh-pressed cider, fresh-made donuts, and a fun farm experience. While you’re there, go on a wagon ride, visit the children’s animal park, and see the new cider mill garden with fall mums.

Annual Events

Plymouth Ice Festival // Held in January and in downtown Plymouth. The whole event is meant to spread the word about the community it is hosted in. Enjoy the ice sculptures that are created for this event. There are even several interactive ice sculptures for that perfect photo opt. (January)
