Spring Break Science Camp @ Michigan Science Center, Detroit

Join us for our Spring Break Camp and explore the Michigan Science Center. We will learn about simple machines, magnets, how buildings are constructed, and much much more. We will put our Engineering Design practices to the test with fun, new activities every day!

Spring Break Art Days @ Cranbrook Art Museum, West Bloomfield
April 2 – 6 / 9:00 am – 3:00 pm (9:00 am – 11:00 am for mini day)
Grades: 1 – 4
Spring Break Art Days offer a fun, creative, open environment to create and explore art and design using Cranbrook’s amazing collections!
Each day focuses on a different theme and cross-disciplinary, hands-on projects.
Cost: $75 for non members, $65 for ArtMembers
Half mini Days (Ages 4-5): $40 for non members, $35 for ArtMembers
BBAC Spring Break Camp @Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center, Birmingham

Grades: 1 – 12
There are sessions for children ages 2-4 with an adult. “Spring Break Art Camp” is for Grades 1-5. For Grades 6-12, there are workshops – Metals, Drawing & Wheel-Throwing.

Pistons Academy Spring Break Basketball Camps @ Franklin Athletic Club, Southfield
April 2 – 6 / 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Ages: 8 – 13
This camp will focus on staying active over break by teaching the fundamental skills of basketball. Each day will incorporate new skills and technique to help improve basketball skills and awareness. Players will play games and take part in fun and exciting contests. All skill levels are welcome. Pre/Post Care available for a small fee.

Pistons Academy Spring Break Basketball Camps @ Covington School, Birmingham
April 3- 6 / 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Ages: 8 – 13
Welcome back to the Pistons Academy Camp! Students may attend KidsClub (open play opportunities) before and after the program – included in fee. Four days of hoops is guaranteed to be packed with thrills and excitement! On the first day, campers will participate in the “Pistons Combine.” After the combine, we will develop a tailored format to match instruction with the group needs of the camp. In the morning hours, players will be introduced to offensive and defensive philosophies to help prepare them for competitive play. Games and contests will take place each day after lunch. Camp will conclude with a brief awards ceremony on Friday.

Downriver Y Spring Break Camp @ Downriver Family YMCA, Taylor

Ages: 5 – 12
When school is out, fun is in at the Y. When you sign up for Break Camp, you can trust that your child is in a safe, engaging environment while participating in enriching activities. Most week-long school break camps include a weekly field trip.
Cost: $40 per day or $180 for the week
Stage Nature Center Spring Break Days @ Stage Nature Center, Troy
April 4 & 5 / 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Ages: 6 – 11
Visit the forests and meadows looking for animals, signs of animal activity and new plant growth. Each day will include fun interactive games, activities, explorations and crafts. Children will use observation tools as they discover what’s happening outdoors. Camp is held rain or shine. Bring a sack lunch each day. Beverages and snacks included.
Cost: $90 for non members, $80 for members
Spring Break Camp @ Waterford Parks and Rec, Waterford
April 3 – 6 / 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Ages: 6-11
The kids have no school? No problem! Join us at the Waterford Parks and Recreation Department for fun activities, great games, and much more! Children need to bring a packed lunch each day. Camp drop-off is at Hess-Hathaway Park, 825 S. Williams Lake Road. Before and after care is available.
Cost: $35 per day for Waterford Residents and $40 per day for Non-Residents
Mike’s Pro Soccer Camp @ High Velocity Sports, Canton
April 2 – 6 / 9:00 am – 12:00 pm (Before and After Care Available through HVS)
Ages: 6 – 17
Geared for more advanced players, Miki’s Pro Soccer Camp combines the best training techniques from around the world. Miki’s proven approach allows players of all ages to take their game to the next level. Players are challenged to focus on details of the game and given drills they can work on at home to continually improve their game. The camp focuses on four areas of player development: Speed & Agility, Ball Control, Shooting, and Passing.
Cost: $30/day or $135 for the week
School Break Day Camp @ Metro United Karate, Livonia
April 2 – 6 / 7:30am – 5:00pm
Ages: 6 – 13
Metro United will be hosting all day Spring Break day camps from with structured activities, daily themes, physical education, arts & crafts, academics, games & field trips all included in the tuition! There is a daily reading log requirement and daily themes will range from goal setting to bully prevention. Students will enjoy indoor sports such as basketball, floor hockey and martial arts. Games such as Nerf Wars, dodgeball and academics to be completed via worksheet, computer or tablet.
Cost: Reserve your entire week for as low as $125. Part-time 3-days for $105 or drop in at $45/day.
School Break Camp at Franklin Athletic Club @ Franklin Athletic Club, Franklin

Ages: 2 – 12
What better way is there to spend your time away from school than at Franklin Athletic Club? Join us for an exciting day of games, swimming, tennis, and so much more! Bring a lunch or $5, two peanut free healthy snacks, a water bottle, swimsuit, and a great big smile!

Robot Garage 1-Day Camp @ Birmingham Robot Garage, Birmingham

Grades: K – 8
This 1-day camp provides a fun, educational day of programming and building robots. Kids work on different projects depending on their age, ranging from WeDo robotics to Mindstorms robotics. A typical day includes 3 to 4 different workshops. No experience necessary.

The Joe Dumars Fieldhouse Spring Break Camps give participants an opportunity to get out of the house and stay active during their break. Our Basketball Camp covers the fundamentals of the game while mixing in a ton of fun competitions. Every day at MSU Tollgate Spring Break Farm Camp is an exciting adventure as we move through daily themes to care for baby goats, hatch chicks, help with morning animal chores, take afternoon hikes in the woods, harvest early produce for nutritious Garden Kitchen snacks, engage in a creative week-long STEM project, and experience lots of real science and hands-on fun! A typical camp day will include making yummy and nutritious snacks, caring for our farm animals, sowing seeds in the garden, investigating the natural world of field, forest, and pond.
