TOP SPRING BREAK CAMPS IN METRO DETROIT 2019

Spring Break is the first week of April. If you need somewhere to send your littles, here are some ideas.
Troy Gymnastics Spring Break Camp @ Troy Gymnastics, Troy
March 29 & April 1 – 5 / 9:00 am – 4:30 pm
No School? Drop the kids off at TG’s day camps! We offer Half day options for 3-12 years old or a Full day option for 4-12 years old. A fun-filled day of gymnastics and games! We will have a blast!!!
Cost: $65 per day, $35 per half day
School Break Camp at Franklin Athletic Club @ Franklin Athletic Club, Franklin
April 1 – 5 / 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Ages: 2 – 12
What better way is there to spend your time away from school than at Franklin Athletic Club? Join us for an exciting day of games, swimming, tennis, and so much more! Bring a lunch or $6, two peanut free healthy snacks, a water bottle, swimsuit, and a great big smile!
Cost: $85 per day, $330 per week for non members, $75 per day, $280 per week for members. Discounted rates available for early registration.
Pistons Academy Spring Break Basketball Camps @ Franklin Athletic Club, Southfield
April 1 – 5 / 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Ages: 8 – 13
This camp will focus on staying active over break by teaching the fundamental skills of basketball. Each day will incorporate new skills and technique to help improve basketball skills and awareness. Players will play games and take part in fun and exciting contests. All skill levels are welcome. Pre/Post Care available for a small fee.
Cost: $250 for the week
Camp Africa Spring @ Charles H Wright Museum, Detroit
April 1 – 5 / 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
Ages: 7-12
Camp Africa Spring is a FREE week-long day camp open to children ages 7 – 12 featuring creative, dynamic, and fun activities centered around science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. Campers will be able to explore the wonders of The Wright Museum while learning key subjects to help them grow as learners.

Spring Break Art Days @ Cranbrook Art Museum, West Bloomfield
April 1 – 5 / 9:00 am – 3:00 pm (9:00 am – 11:00 am for mini day)
Grades: 1 – 4
Spring Break Art Days offer a fun, creative, open environment to create and explore art and design using Cranbrook’s amazing collections!
Each day focuses on a different theme and cross-disciplinary, hands-on projects.
Cost: $75 for non members, $65 for ArtMembers
Half mini Days (Ages 4-5): $40 for non members, $35 for ArtMembers
BBAC Spring Break Camp @ Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center, Birmingham
April 1 – 5 / 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Grades: 1 – 12
There are sessions for children ages 2-4 with an adult. “Spring Break Art Camp” is for Grades 1-5. For Grades 6-12, there are workshops – Metals, Drawing & Wheel-Throwing.
Cost: $323 for Guests, $283 for members
Spring Break Camp @ Michigan Academy of Gymnastics, Westland
April 1 – April 5, April 19 / 9:00 am – 4:30 pm
Grades: 3 – 14
Kids can come and enjoy a fun-filled day of gymnastics, games, and crafts! Full and part-time options. R and rush-hour child care is also available.
Cost: Full day: $65 per day/ $325 per week. Half day: $35 per day/ $175 per week
Downriver Y Spring Break Camp @ Downriver Family YMCA, Taylor
April 1 – 5 / 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Ages: 5 – 12
When school is out, fun is in at the Y. When you sign up for Break Camp, you can trust that your child is in a safe, engaging environment while participating in enriching activities. Most week-long school break camps include a weekly field trip.
Cost: $40 per day or $180 for the week
Mike’s Pro Soccer Camp @ High Velocity Sports, Canton
April 1 – 5 / 9:00 am – 12:00 pm (Before and After Care Available through HVS)
Ages: 6 – 17
Geared for more advanced players, Miki’s Pro Soccer Camp combines the best training techniques from around the world. Miki’s proven approach allows players of all ages to take their game to the next level. Players are challenged to focus on details of the game and given drills they can work on at home to continually improve their game. The camp focuses on four areas of player development: Speed & Agility, Ball Control, Shooting, and Passing.
Cost: $30/day or $135 for the week
Spring Break Farm Camp @ MSU Tollgate Farm, Novi
April 1 – 5 / 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Grades: 6 – 12
Every day at MSU Tollgate Spring Break Farm Camp is an exciting adventure as we move through daily themes to care for baby goats, hatch chicks, help with morning animal chores, take afternoon hikes in the woods, harvest early produce for nutritious Garden Kitchen snacks, engage in a creative week-long STEM project, and experience lots of real science and hands-on fun! A typical camp day will include making yummy and nutritious snacks, caring for our farm animals, sowing seeds in the garden, investigating the natural world of field, forest, and pond.
Cost: $310
Joe Dumars Break Week Camp @ Joe Dumars Fieldhouse, Shelby Township
April 2 – 4 / 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
Grades: 1 – 9
The Joe Dumars Fieldhouse Spring Break Camps give participants an opportunity to get out of the house and stay active during their break. Our Basketball Camp covers the fundamentals of the game while mixing in a ton of fun competitions. Our Volleyball Camp will help everyone improve their game, whether you’re a beginner or have been playing for years. Lunch will be provided for all campers.
Cost: $139 for 3 days
Stage Nature Center Spring Break Days @ Stage Nature Center, Troy
April 3 & 4 / 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Ages: 6 – 11
Visit the forests and meadows looking for animals, signs of animal activity and new plant growth. Each day will include fun interactive games, activities, explorations and crafts. Children will use observation tools as they discover what’s happening outdoors. Camp is held rain or shine. Bring a sack lunch each day. Beverages and snacks included.
Cost: $90 for non members, $80 for members
Spring Showers Camp @ Detroit Waldorf School, Detroit
April 19 – 26 / 9:00 am – 3:30 pm
Grades: Pre-K – 8
Campers will spend their days playing games, singing songs, cooking and baking, exploring the arts, and experiencing all of the wonderful moments that make camp fun!
Cost: $60 per child per day
