As if you needed another reason to visit the Toledo Zoo, the popular Midwest destination is now offering its Aerial Adventure Course FREE with general admission. 

The Toledo Zoo has it all – stunning animal habitats, behind the scenes tours, a Natural History Museum, massive playground, conservatory, Aquarium and now the Aerial Adventure Course ALL included with general admission. 

The Expedition Africa Aerial Adventure Course is set more than 3 stories above ground. The versatile course allows guests to customize their experience by combining multiple elements for a one-of-a-kind adventure with incredible views of the Africa! exhibit.

Aerial Course Features

• Zipline: In this exhilarating and unique experience, guests will start off 80 feet above the Africa! exhibit and coast over 760 feet across giraffe, watusi cattle, wildebeest and more.
• Challenge Towers: Spend some time exploring two different towers packed with obstacles set 30-60 feet in the air, designed to challenge guests mentally and physically.
• Sky Bridge: Take in the Africa! exhibit with this excursion across three 250 foot long bridges set 30 feet in the air.
• Quick Jump: Take a quick and thrilling 30 foot jump off of the main tower with a controlled descent to the ground.

The Aerial Course is open to guests between 75lbs and 250lbs. All gests must sign a waiver before entering the course and participants under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Participants are required to wear fully enclosed shoes that are sturdy and secure behind the heel. No Crocs, flip-flops, sandals or five-toed shoes. Skirts are also not permitted.

The Africa Aerial Adventure Course is open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, Wednesdays-Sundays. Sign-ups begin each day at 10 a.m. at the Aerial Adventure Course in Africa! Participation each day is first-come, first-serve and not guaranteed.

The Toledo Zoo is open Wednesdays thru Sundays from 10am to 5pm (last admittance is 4pm) and Mondays from 10am to 2pm (last admittance is 12pm). Daily admission is $26 for adults and $23 for kids and seniors. Family Memberships are $131 and pays for itself for families with 3 or more children. Even if you don’t have 3 kids, we can assure you that you’ll want to go back for more than one visit.
