10 Things To Do with Kids This Weekend

The days may all be a blur, but we can still get excited for the weekend. After a long week at home, spend time outside and take in some fresh air. And if you need some inspiration for things to do with your kids, here are 10 things you CAN do this weekend.

The weather is cooler and it feels like fall. Warm up with fresh cider and donuts from a local cider mill – here’s a list of our favorites.

From hayrides and pumpkin patches to favorite books and movies, check out our list of fall favorites.

Fall festival fans will want to check out the Apple Festival at Erie Orchards and Cornfun Fall Family Fun at Corn Fun Family Farm.

The Avengers are assembling at Indian Creek Zoo this weekend and their bringing Princesses with them. Get your tickets to Super Hero & Princess Weekend and let your littles meet their favorite characters.

Paw Patrol fans can head to Oakland Mall for a special drive-thru back to school event. Families will even get a free backpack with school supplies!

This week’s #MomLife feature Kristin, of The Montessori Millennial, is pre-k homeschooling #goals and she suggests some great outing for the family. We can’t wait to check out Upland Hills Farm this fall.

Also for moms, we teamed up with Fit4Mom East Oakland County to give away a free week of unlimited classes. The fitness group offers virtual and outdoor classes – include Stroller Barre class!

Sunday is Grandparents Day! Let your mom or dad have the kids for the day. We put together a list of fun activities to help grandparents plan the perfect day out. They can also keep it simple and join Kid’s Fishing Day at Founder’s Sport Park in Farmington.

Bundle up and stay up late for an outdoor movie night. Trolls World Tour is at Taylor Sportsplex on Friday and Moana is at Holden’s in Milford on Saturday.

Football is back! Keep the kids busy during the game with storytime on Netflix. Bookmarks features celebrities reading books featuring black characters – my boys have watched it and love it.
