10 Things to Do with Kids in Metro Detroit this Weekend

The days may all be a blur but the weekends are a time to refresh. Save time scrolling and check out this list of fun family activities you can do this weekend.

It’s Memorial Weekend and most the local splash pads, beaches and pools open for the season! Safety first – enter to win 3 months of FREE swim class at Aqua-Tots Swim School (we started last weekend and love it).

Take a trip to Frankenmuth for Balloons Over Bavarian Inn and stay overnight at Zehnder’s Splash Village.

Make it feel like  a getaway and head to The Ford House on Lake St. Clair to check out the brand new Visitor Center, enjoy a family meal at the new restaurant and explore the grounds.

Art Fairs are on the summer and the festival season kicks off this weekend with the Kensington Metropark Art Fair.

There’s something new to do downtown, lace up your roller skates and head to the Monroe Street Midway. While you’re downtown check out this week’s #MomLife feature Betsy’s (and ours) other throwback favorites the Garden Bowl and Pop+Offworld.

It’s the start of the United Shore Professional Baseball season and we’re giving away a family four-pack for you to enjoy the game.

While you’re in Macomb, head to Blake Farms for family time at Funland.

Plan for pre-historic fun and find the Best Places To Take Your Dinosaur Lover In Metro Detroit or Go On An Adventure To Michigan’s Alligator Sanctuary.

Celebrate the unofficial start of summer and enter to win a pair of tickets to one of several beer, wine and seltzer festivals in metro Detroit this summer.
