10 Things to Do with Kids in Metro Detroit this Weekend

The days may all be a blur, but we can still get excited for the weekend. After a long week at home, spend time outside and take in some fresh air. And if you need some inspiration for things to do with your kids, here are 10 things you CAN do this weekend.

The Plymouth Ice Festival is this weekend!

If you want a real ice show, plan a trip to explore the Ice Castles in Wisconsin – you may also see your favorite Ice Queen.

You can also find Elsa, Ana and your Frozen favorites at Carousel Acres in South Lyon again this weekend.

Still trying to figure out your Valentine Date Night? Here are 10 reasons to head to Detroit for romantic night on the town. BONUS: the Monroe Street Drive-In is showing all the best romance movies this weekend.

If Galentine’s Day is more your style, meet your girlfriends at one of metro Detroit’s new Selfie Shops to capture some much needed mom time.

Make it a pizza night. Hungry Howie’s has heart shaped pizza this weekend (it’s only $6.99) and we’re giving away a YEAR of free pizza to one LittleGuide family!

Stay warm and explore the Detroit Historical Museum – there’s hands-on fun for the whole family.

Let the kids bounce off someone else’s wall and take them to a trampoline park!

When you have cabin fever, look at cabin rentals available at Michigan’s State Park. The new Geoescic Domes at Port Crescent Park look SO cool!

This week’s #MomLife feature Lexus, loves Blake Farms as much as we do. Plan a visit to check it out and order Paczkis for Tuesday!

Its a long weekend, celebrate President’s Day with a trip to Detroit and let your kids see how many presidents (statues, houses and pictures) they can find around town with our downtown presidential scavenger hunt!
