10 Things To Do with Kids This Weekend

The days may all be a blur, but we can still get excited for the weekend. After a long week at home, spend time outside and take in some fresh air. And if you need some inspiration for things to do with your kids, here are 10 things you CAN do this weekend.
Don’t miss the Trackless Train and a Corn Maze at Heritage Petting Farm in Taylor this weekend! If you want a train idea further north, head to Shephard Park in Oak Park for a massive train at the playground.
Have MiSci fun at home and tune in to Illuminate and watch science experience live and get a sneak peak at the new exhibit. You can also visit the Michigan Science Center, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
Everyone loves Blakes! Plan a trip (check out the Haunted Attractions) or indulge in cider and donuts closer to home. Cider In The City is happening Saturday at Beacon Park in Detroit and Cider Days at The Ford House in Grosse Pointe.
Head to Wiard’s Orchard in Ypsilanti for a full day of family fun at the Country Fair – you can enter to win tickets too!
Cuddle up for an outdoor movie. Casper is showing at Riverside Park in Auburn Hills and Abominable at Red Oaks Nature Center in Madison Heights.
It’s October and that means Hay Ride Central is back at Heritage Park in Farmington!
Connect with our latest #MomLife feature Sarah, for Spanish story times and the BEST Mexican recipes you won’t want to wait to try.
Grab a sweet treat and check out the Scarecrows at Kellogg Park in downtown Plymouth.
The leaves are starting to turn, take it all in and head to Traverse City for a last minute getaway.
And if you want to stay closer to home but feel like you’re out west, go to Carpenter Lake Nature Preserve in Southfield. LittleGuide readers are LOVING it!
Fall weekends aren’t complete without cider and donuts, here are our favorite cider mills in Metro Detroit!
