It’s March and Maple Sugar season. Dozens of nature centers and farms are having maple sugar events this weekend – we’ll be at MSU Tollgate’s Maplefest Sunday! Here are even more ideas about fun things to do with kids in March.

March is National Reading Month and a great excuse to bring the kids to Detroit. Take a photo in front of the Lorax House, search for little Libraries around town (including a TARDIS themed one in Woodbridge), visit the Main Detroit Public Library in Midtown and pick out new reads at a local book store.

Autorama is in the Motor City this weekend. Check out the classic Hot Rod show at the former COBO Hall.

Get tickets to Trolls LIVE and sing and dance with Poppy, Branch and your other favorite trolls.

While you’re in the city, stop by this week’s #MomLife feature Samantha’s favorite – the Michigan Science Center! You can also show your support by voting for them in USA Today’s Best Science Museum contest.

Catch figure skating Olympians at Campus Martius on Saturday as Figure Skating In Detroit closes out The Rink for the season with ‘Skating with the Stars’. Enjoy performances by local and national talent and strap on skates to join Olympian Meryl Davis on the ice.
