The YMCA Hosts FREE Community Events Saturday For Healthy Kids Day

For 30 years, Healthy Kids Day has celebrated kids’ mental and physical health, while teaching healthy habits for kids and families, encouraging active play and inspiring a lifetime love of physical activity. On Saturday, April 30th, more than 1,400 Y locations across all 50 states – plus D.C. and Puerto Rico— will be hosting events featuring fun games and activities to keep kids moving and learning. Here’s where to find FREE Community Events at 7 YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit lcoations.
Birmingham Family YMCA – 9am to 1pm
Everyone is welcome to visit the Birmingham Family YMCA and get a tour, bounce in our bounce house, make a craft, try a healthy snack, and win some awesome prizes!
Bring your friends and join the fun on Saturday, April 30th from 10am-12pm for healthy, fun activities provided by local vendors. This event is free and open to the public.
This is a Free Community Event and we encourage all families with children to join us for an afternoon of healthy and fun-filled activities. Each participant will visit a variety of stations that will include fun fitness challenges, making a healthy snack, face painting and so much more.
Macomb Family YMCA – 10am to 12pm
Nothing charges up kids like summer and Healthy Kids Day is the Y’s offical start to the best summer ever!
South Oakland Family YMCA – 10am to 1pm
Join us for Healthy Kids Day, a FREE event open to the community April 30th from 10am-1pm. Activities include bounce house, seed planting, kids yoga, nutrition and STEM stations and so much more! See you at the Y!
Boll Family YMCA – 11am to 1pm
Join us April 30 for a day of healthy, fun activities that celebrate kids being kids! Healthy Kids Day is free and open to everyone.
Farmington Family YMCA – 1pm to 3pm
Join us April 30 for a day of healthy, fun activities that celebrate kids being kids! Healthy Kids Day is free and open to everyone.
