Growing up, I loved our family trips to the drive-in. We got to stay up late, eat in the car and enjoy two movies (if we could keep our eyes open). This popular pastime has made a massive comeback in the last year and if you haven’t been yet the Summer Drive-In at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth opens this weekend and it’s lots of fun.

The Summer Drive-In at USA Hockey Arena is a go-to activity for my family. We can keep the kids contained in the car and shake-up our movie watching routine by curling up together in the car. Our youngest often falls asleep in the car seat and when that happens, it gives us quality time with our oldest. When they both fall asleep, we get a date night. One of our favorite things about the Summer Drive-In is that we can order dinner from CJ’s Brewery Company and have it delivered to our car. There’s also traditional concession stands for popcorn and candy.

Three movies are shown each night on separate screens. Gates open at 7:30pm and the movie begins at 8:30pm. Opening weekend line up is Godzilla vs Kong, The Croods: A New Age and Wrong Turn.  Admission is $10 per adult and $8 for kids.
