Calling all bookworms! Enjoy a day filled with spectacular stories, creative activities and fun performances at the Edsel & Eleanor Ford House first-ever Story Festival on Saturday September 25th!

The Ford House is teaming up with the Grosse Pointe Public Library and the ECHO Library and Resource Center for a one-of-a-kind Story Festival for families. Guests will find stations around the estate with fun and immersive activities for the whole family, all meant to spark a love of reading. Story themes draw from the lakeside estate and include the water cycle, gardens, and sustainability, art, home, nature, and transportation.

Bring blankets, wagons and chairs to enjoy live music and performances by children’s singer-songwriter Jim Gill and dance companies To Sangana and Company One from Wayne State University.

The Story Festival is Saturday, September 25th from 10am to 2pm. Admission is free for kids ages 5 and under, guests over 5 are $5. Get your tickets here.
