Summer days are passing quickly. Add Taylor’s Heritage Park to your to-do list for a full day of family fun. 

The baseball themed splash pad and playground at Lamarand Splash Pad offers daily fun for the family and when you visit on Tuesday, Thursday or Friday in August you get more bang for your bucks!

Every Tuesday between 2pm and 5pm there will be a new make-and-take craft for kids. Special characters will be at the splash pad on Thursdays between 2pm and 5pm (see schedule below). Bound into the weekend and let the kids have at it in the Bounce House from 12pm to 3pm.

  • August 12th: Mermaids
  • August 19th: Moana & Belle
  • August 26th: Batman & Wonder Woman

Lamarand Splash Pad is open daily from 12pm to 6pm (extended to 8pm on Saturday & Sunday). Admission is $2 for Taylor residents and $5 for non-residents.

While you’re at Heritage Park be sure to stop by the Petting Farm. Enter through he Welcome Center and head to nature pond to look for fish, frogs, turtles and ducks.  Afterwards you can go to the Big Red Barn and visit with goats, sheep, alpacas, ponies, cows, donkeys, rabbits, chickens, and piglets. 

Heritage Park Petting Farm is open Tuesdays thru Sundays from 10am to 4:30pm. Farm admission is $4 per person and $3 for Taylor residents. 

The Taylor Conservatory & Botanical Gardens are in full bloom and free to enjoy. Located next to the farm it’s the perfect spot to grab a family photo and remember the day.
