Add Taylor’s Heritage Park to your summer bucketlist because every month they are hosting FREE activities for families.

Take a trip Downriver on the third Friday of the month this summer and find FREE family fun at Heritage Park. The city is setting up bounce houses, craft stations, market stands and hosting live children performances to accompany monthly themed guests.

  • June 17th: Meet Blippi & Minne
  • July 15th: Maribel & Isabela
  • August 19th: Paw Patrol & The Cat In The Hat

While you’re at Heritage Park be sure to stop by the Petting Farm. Enter through he Welcome Center and head to nature pond to look for fish, frogs, turtles and ducks.  Afterwards you can go to the Big Red Barn and visit with goats, sheep, alpacas, ponies, cows, donkeys, rabbits, chickens, and piglets. 

Heritage Park Petting Farm is open Tuesdays thru Sundays from 10am to 4:30pm. Farm admission is $4 per person and $3 for Taylor residents. 

Next to the farm is the Taylor Conservatory & Botanical Gardens. It’s beautiful in full bloom and free to enjoy.

The Lamarand Splash Pad is also located at Heritage Park and open on Saturdays & Sundays beginning Memorial Weekend and open daily beginning July 14th. Admission is $2 for Taylor residents and $5 for non-residents.

Free summer movies will also be hosted in Taylor at the Downriver Wayne County Community College Campus on Thursday, July 14th (Sing 2) and Thursday, July 28th (Encanto).
