The Detroit Riverfront is one of our favorite places to explore! From cruising the Dequindre Cut on a family bike ride, to lounging along the river watching boats with our feet in the sand at Valade Park, it’s the perfect place to relax and recharge.

The Detroit Riverfront Conservancy is a non-profit organization, so to help keep the riverfront clean and to continue to welcome new park features (have you seen the massive park project happening on the West Riverfront?!), the Conservancy depends on donations from visitors and supporters.

You can show your support for the Detroit Riverfront by placing an order for a limited edition #BeingApartTogether Package full of locally-sourced items that encourage outdoor fun for the entire family. Whether you treat yourself to this box of riverfront treasures or order it as a gift for a loved one, by purchasing the #BeingApartTogether Package, you are supporting the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy in a major way.

We LOVE the Detroit Riverfront and to show our support, we’re giving away a #BeingApartTogether Package to one lucky LittleGuide Detroit reader.

In normal times, the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy hosts annual fundraising events to raise funds and awareness. Due to the ongoing health crisis, in-person fundraisers have been cancelled but you CAN attend the virtual Battle of the Bands on Thursday, July 8th. The bands scheduled to perform include: New World Soul, New Music Detroit, Lvrboy, and the Aston Neighborhood Pleasure Club.

Please remember that every dollar counts, whether you can buy a box or just donate $5, it all makes a difference!
