If you’re looking for a full day of fun in one place, head to Civic Center Park in Woodhaven. There’s an awesome playground, FREE splash pad and lots of space to picnic and play.
Civic Center Park in Woodhaven offer everything you need from a park. Start your day at the northend of the park and let the littles run around the new inclusive playground featuring three large structures and smaller objects for kids to climb on. There are plenty of swings and Safety Town with mini houses (it makes for a fun game of family hide and seek).
The splash pad is a hit for kids of all ages with plenty of greenspace, shaded seats and tables for parents to sit and watch from the sidelines. Restrooms are available as well.
If you want to play a game there is bocce ball, horseshoes, tennis and pickle courts, a football field, and baseball diamonds. Walk along the paved trail or drive to the southern end of the park for a disc golf course, sand volleyball court and skate park. There’s also a small playground for kids and a dog park.
During the winter months, you can also find a skating rink and sledding hill.
