SEA LIFE Offers FREE Admission To Essential Workers

Travel the ocean in your backyard at SEA LIFE Michigan and do it for FREE if you work at a grocery store. Michigan’s largest aquarium has extended its Grocery Store Heroes Appreciation Days, plan a visit between January 19th and February 26th.
2020 has given us all a greater appreciation for service workers and to show its gratitude, SEA LIFE Michigan is providing anyone who works at a grocery store (cashiers, baggers, customer service associates, administrative staff, grocery delivery drivers) FREE admission and $12 tickets for up to 4 guests (children ages 2 and under are FREE).
Eligible grocery stores include (but are not limited to) Kroger, Meijer, Walmart, Target, Costco, Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, ALDI and Sam’s Club. Delivery services like Shipt are also included.
Visitors can use their Grocer Employee ID or paystub to use discount, all tickets must be reserved online. FREE and discounted visits are only available Monday – Friday from January 19th to February 26th and is not available on President’s Day (February 15th).
What will you see at SEALIFE?
Come nose to nose with over 250 species including sharks, rays, seahorses and more in 12 interactive exhibits at SEA LIFE Michigan! You’ll journey through the freshwater lakes of Michigan, all the way to the depths of the ocean, and meet the amazing creatures that live everywhere in between!
INTERACTIVE TOUCHPOOL EXPERIENCE
Are you brave enough to reach in and touch amazing rockpool creatures like sea stars, urchins, lobsters and more?
UNDERWATER OCEAN TUNNEL
Take a stroll under the sea and watch as thousands of tropical fish, sharks, and sea turtles glide majestically overhead.
STORY TIME & DEMONSTRATIONS
‘Dive’ into the S.S. Imagination and listen to “under the sea” stories, sit in on a super hero talk to find out about sharks and their amazing superpowers, and get up close and learn what different rockpool creatures chow down on!
