SEA LIFE Michigan + LEGOLAND Discovery Center Host Sensory Friendly Mornings

If you’re looking for a safe, sensory friendly space for your family to spend a morning, plan a visit to SEA LIFE Michigan and LEGOLAND Discovery Center.
During Sensory Friendly Mornings, LEGOLAND Discovery Center Michigan and SEA LIFE Michigan reduces the lighting, turn off music and disable distracting stimuli for an hour before we open to the general public to allow guests greater comfort during their visits. Sensory sensitive adults are welcome to visit during Sensory Friendly Mornings without a child (age 16 or under) in the party until the attraction opens to the general public. Sensory Friendly Mornings will be April 26th thru 28th from 9am to 10am. Discount tickets are available to guests at that time as well.
LEGOLAND Discovery Center Michigan is the ultimate indoor LEGO playground (there’s also an literal playground). Your visit begins with an interactive look at how LEGOs are made and a chance to design your own. Afterwards you can hop aboard a chariot to rescue the princess on the Kingdom Quest ride and later take to the sky on Merlin’s Apprentice Ride. Kids of all ages and interests will have their choice of where to play:
- The Barnyard Themed Duplo Toddler Area
- LEGO Friends Heart Lake City
- Build & Test Racing Area
- Under The Sea Adventures
- Creative Workshop
SEA LIFE Michigan is Michigan’s largest aquarium and will leave your littles in awe as they spot over 250 species including sharks, rays, seahorses and more in 12 interactive exhibits. Experince hands-on learning at the interactive touch pool and see where you will find the aquatic sea life in bodies of water around the world. The underwater ocean tunnel will mesmerize and remind kids of the popular Pixar films Finding Nemo/Dory.
