The Toledo Zoo isn’t just for kids, mom and dad can enjoy themselves for a night on the town this fall at these adult-only events.
The Toledo Zoo offers family fun all year long but when you need a break, it’s great for date night too. This fall the zoo is hosting three adult-only festivals that will give parents a chance to enjoy the beautiful grounds and animals like never before. Pick your preference – wine, beer or spirits – and start making plans for a date night. You can also enter to win a FREE pair of tickets for you AND a friend to Zootober Fest from LittleGuide Detroit!
Sip Sip Horray – Friday, September 30th
Cheers to a wine-filled fall evening! Adults 21+ are invited to sample a variety of wines at this exclusive, limited-attendance, wine tasting event! Guests will be entertained with live music performances by Tapestry Duo, Tony Marchese, and Ol’ Creek Road. Also, watch Ice Creations as they show off their pumpkin carving skills.
Tickets include 15 samples, souvenir wine glass, champagne toast upon arrival, complimentary parking at the Anthony Wayne Trail lot and live entertainment. Light snacks will be included, but guests may also purchase food at one of our concession stands.

Zootober Fest – Friday, October 7th
A beer tasting event with a fall twist! Buckeye Broadband ZOOtoberfest will feature a variety of craft brews from over a dozen local and regional breweries. Guests will enjoy live music while sampling seasonal sours, stouts, pale ales, porters, IPAs and ciders – there is something for everyone!
Tickets include 15 samples, custom glassware and entertainment. Additional samples available for purchase. Light snacks provided and food trucks will be available for additional purchase.

Roar and Pour – Friday, October 14th
Stroll Main plaza to learn about and sample varieties of bourbons and whiskeys, each thoughtfully paired with small bites. This fall evening features live blues music, fire pits, and ambassador animals for all guests to enjoy. Bourbon and whiskey cocktails will also be available. Every guest receives a custom Roar & Pour cocktail glass!
Don’t miss the cigar lounge in the gardens, where an expert will personally help you choose a cigar tailored to your taste. While this add-on is available when purchasing tickets, or on site, the cigar lounge is open for all guests to enjoy, with a photobooth, fire pit, and spectacular pumpkin displays to make for a perfect fall evening.
