Looking for a place to go tubing? Here’s a list of places in metro Detroit and around Michigan that offers snowy hilltop fun.

Bowers School Farm (Bloomfield Hills)

No snow, no problem! We have a new synthetic surface to allows tubing no matter the temperature. Enjoy 50 minutes of tubing. Slide down one of the coolest sledding hills in Metro Detroit. Watch our hill come alive with lights during evening hours. Tubing tickets are $17 per person.


Rolling Hills Park (Ypsilanti)

The sledding hill is 275 feet in length with a large flat area at the bottom and fenced return paths on either side so you can safely climb the hill and ride again. The 70 foot width at the top of the hill is wide enough to spread out and accommodate various levels of thrill seekers. The sledding hill is located behind the Lodge building. There is plenty of paved parking, permanent restrooms, and a warming space with a gas fireplace for public use. Tube rentals are $10 per hour. They also offer XC skiing equipment rentals for $10.


Hawk Island (Lansing)

Hawk Island’s hills are groomed specifically for snow tubing and riders will speed down one of many thrilling 16 ft wide sculpted snow lanes to drop 50-60 feet over a course of 500-600 feet. A magic carpet uphill conveyor lift transports riders to the top of the hill and snow making machines are used to extend the time the snow tubing hill can be used. Reservations fill up FAST – tickets are $11 per person.
