Take a weekend trip to downtown Detroit for an exciting family-friendly afternoon at ‘Skating with the Stars’ the annual Figure Skating In Detroit event features live performances, special guests – including Olympian Meryl Davis, open skating and more! Mark the calendar for Campus Martius at 3pm on Saturday, March 5th. 

Figure Skating in Detroit is a nonprofit organization that combines academics and figure skating for girls ages 6-18. Every year the organization hots its ‘Skating with the Stars’ event to raise $20,000 to go toward academic programming, field trips, uniforms, equipment and ice time.

This year’s event includes special appearances by Olympic Gold Medalist Meryl Davis, Figure Skating Champion Starr Andrews and Miss Michigan Teen 2020 Aneesa Sheik, along with other special guests. Attendees can also experience music, live performances, hot chocolate, ice skating and more. Tickets are on sale now for the Saturday event:
