As we settle into fall, and all the wonderful activities it has to offer, self care for parents of special needs children is so important. If you’re looking to expand your circle and find community support, look no further than Northridge Church in Plymouth.

The Special Needs Ministry at Northridge Church in Plymouth has a phenomenal opportunity for parents to connect and encourage each other twice a month throughout the school year. The group meets on Wednesdays from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. While the parents meet in one room, a wonderful group of volunteers are watch the kids. The volunteers do a great job creating a fun and engaging environment for kids of all ages and there is a wide range of ages so where ever you are in the parenting stage, you’ll feel welcome.

Connecting with other parents is vital, and sharing experiences, resources and stories is how parents build each other up and keep on keeping on this amazing journey of raising special needs children.
