We’re excited to add one more item to our list of Kid-Friendly Activities in Detroit – the new proposed Playground in Spirit Plaza!
This summer the Detroit City Council voted to make the Spirit Plaza activation site permanent and today they released the redesign plan. We’re excited to see a playground and playscape for kids incorporated into the space and can’t wait to check it out with the littles! In addition to the playground, the renovation includes the removal of the Woodward Avenue median, more green space and landscaping, a performance stage, tables, chairs and space for food trucks.
