My name is Rani and I am the mom to two girls, Naveena (16) and Zara (8), and wife to an amazing hard-working husband, Jerry. I was born and raised in metro Detroit. I am the owner of Sugar Shack Baking, a home-based baking business where I specialize in cake pops! I do other handheld treats but cake pops are the specialty.

Best Park/Playground: Beverly Park (Beverly Hllls)
We love Beverly Park in Beverly hills. They have an amazing storybook trail and we love the giant hill for sledding in the winter.
Best Family-Friendly Annual Event: The Big, Bright Light Show (Rochester)
We love going to see the lights all lit up in Downtown Rochester. We love seeing bright it is whether just from the car or to walk around.
Your Mom Must-Have: Giant Family Calendar
My giant calendar that we have everything posted on. If I didn’t have this calendar, I certainly would be lost. It helps me and the rest of the family keep track of all the appointments, meetings, and going ons we have as a family.
Best Winter Destination or Event: Wayne County Lightfest (Westland)
We enjoy doing Rochester lights or doing Hines Dr. for the drive to see the light show!
“Pat Yourself on the Back” Accomplishment: Juggling my business and motherhood
My biggest accomplishment is starting my baking company, Sugar Shack Baking while maintaining a full-time day job and raising my family.
