Meet Hannah
My name is Hannah and I’m a mother of two; our son, Emmet, is 5 and our daughter Lyla is 2. They definitely keep my husband Jeff and me very busy! We also have our sweet, goofy energetic 8-year-old labradoodle, Bentley. I am a Montessori educator in Birmingham, and I also have an Instagram account that documents many of the fun adventures our family does in Michigan! We just bought a home in Lake Orion as well, and we’re continuing to explore our new surroundings and see everything this great area has to offer.

Best Park/Playground: Friendship Park (Lake Orion)
Our favorite park is Friendship Park in Lake Orion. Not only does it have an amazing playground, but the little pond is a great place to refuel with a snack!
Best Family-Friendly Annual Event: Eastern Market (Detroit)
We love Detroit and being able to go into the city to get fresh fruit, veggies, eggs, and flowers are so special for our family. We want our children to know how important it is to support local and shop small. The pride they feel after picking out the food they’re going to eat, or helping count out the money to pay for the vendors is wonderful.
Your Mom Must-Have: Backpack Diaper Bag
Honestly a backpack diaper bag! It may seem like a silly must-have, but after being a mom for over 5 years it’s the best choice I’ve made, you can be hands-free and hold basically anything that Mary Poppins could fit in her bag for all emergencies! Best Winter Destination or Event: Santa’s Reindeer Farm (Frankenmuth)
One of our favorite Winter Events is Santa’s Reindeer Farm in Frankenmuth! You get to meet Santa and feed his reindeers! It is such a magical experience for the whole family.
