Hi, I’m Kelsey! Mama to two active littles (Reese, 4.5 and Lilly Rose, 1) and wife to Ed. I love all things barre (shout out to The Dailey Method-Birmingham), outdoor fun with kiddos, and Starbucks’ seasonal beverages (the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew is my go-to). I own and operate a boutique social media management agency www.smallbatchsocialco.com geared towards #momboss small businesses! I love meeting other local moms and checking out new spaces and places for my kids to play and have fun.
Favorite Ways To Spend Family Time:
- Playing outside in our backyard – we have LOTS of bikes, trikes, scooters, a basketball hoop … and so much more!
- Going for walks
- Doing science experiments

Best Park/Playground: Kenning Park (Birmingham)
We LOVE parks! Our favorite park is probably Kenning Park in Birmingham because this is *our* park. We can walk here, it is 100% shaded, there’s tons of space to run around, and there’s a sandbox too!
Best Family-Friendly Annual Event: Any Local Festival
While most of our favorite events aren’t happening this year, we love all the local festivals (bonus points if there are rides!) and Touch A Trucks are a fave too.
Your Mom Must Have: My Open-Concept Kitchen + Family Room
I know that’s a weird response, but it’s an absolute must for me to see my kiddos while I’m in the kitchen preparing snacks and cleaning. Since my old house didn’t have this, it was on my *must have* list when we moved back to Michigan earlier this year.
Best Fall Destination: Miller’s Big Red Apple Orchard (Washington)
We are looking forward to heading to the Big Red Orchard in Washington, Michigan for apple picking, cider, donuts, and tractor rides! We love all things fall, so we’ll be sure to be taking plenty of pumpkin patch pics too ;)
“Pat Yourself on the Back” Accomplishment: Starting My Own Business
