Meet Chantele

Hi, I’m Chantele Jones. I’m a wife and mom to three little ladies, Zharia (9), Rian (8), and Zariyah (6), and we have a baby on the way. I started my business after having Rian when I was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease. I was able to reverse my condition by changing my diet. I wanted to share what I learned and help other people find through food. Estella’s is a pop up vegan restaurant/bakery, we’re currently based out of the Brightmoor Artisans Collective in Detroit.

Favorite Recipes:

Best Park/Playground: George George Memorial Park (Clinton Township)

It’s a big, beautiful park. I usually walk the track while the kids play.

Best Family-Friendly Annual Event: Harvest Festival @ Ray Weigand’s Nursery (Macomb)

It’s a lot of fun, they have several different activities for kids as well as shopping for parents

Your Mom Must-Have: Me Time!

My go-to mom MUST have is ME TIME. I like to go out with friends or enjoy my own company. Having the time to myself to regroup honestly makes me a better parent.

Best Winter Destination: Kalahari Resorts (Sandusky, OH)

We like to go to Kalahari for Christmas. This year we were going on our first family cruise but had to cancel due to COVID19. We try to create experiences over presents.

“Pat Yourself on the Back” Accomplishment: Writing a Cookbook

One personal accomplishment of mine that makes me proud was writing my first cookbook, Our Vegan Family Favorites
