Hi, I’m mom to Charlie and Eleanor. I was born and raised in Indonesia. We currently live in Canton. We love all about what Pure Michigan offers from nature, food, culture and cool places to explore. I am a stay at home mom who loves to explore fun things to do with kids and delicious food to eat. Follow my journey as a mom, foodie and baker with my little Charlie here. Best Park/Playground: Canton’s Heritage Park
Charlie enjoys the indoor pool (membership required or pay per visit available), outdoor splash pad and playgrounds. At the park, Charlie loves running up and down the hill. There is a big lake in the center of the park surrounded by multiple walking trails. It is perfect for a morning or afternoon stroll, also family picnic. We also love to borrow books and enjoy baby/ toddler story time from the Canton Public Library that is in the same vicinity.
Best Annual Event: Pumpkin Patch at Three Cedars Farm
This place has a lot to offer for kids. Charlie enjoys taking cute pictures at the pumpkin patch. They have small outdoor petting farms, train rides, hay rides, outdoor playground, corn box and corn maze. We usually end our fun day with huge servings of cider donuts and apple cider.
Best Summer Destination: Sleeping Bear Dunes & Traverse City
We love going Up North in summer. We love spending days with Charlie at the beach in Sleeping Bear Dunes, eating Moomers ice cream (voted as America’s best), shopping, dining out and strolling around the cute downtown of Traverse City.
