Hi Everyone! My name is Amy, my husband is Tony and together we have the loves of our lives, our twin boys Aiden & Austin. I also can’t forget to mention my fur baby, Lucy who is a teacup Yorkie. She is still getting used to having her 3-year-old brothers around! I have spent my whole life in the hospitality industry planning weddings, corporate events or just fun parties! My main gig is Senior Event Sales Manager at the Garden Theater. It is so exciting to work downtown and see how much Detroit continues to evolve.
In addition to the event planning that I do, my husband and I started Totcercise Mobile Soft Play Gym, which is the area’s first mobile soft play gym that can easily be incorporated to any event. This idea came about when I was planning the boys first birthday party and I couldn’t find a good activity to entertain them. If you are like us and are always looking for fun things to do, please check us out and consider it for your next birthday party or event! My boys can attest to how much fun they think it is, and as a mom I make sure it is deeply cleaned to prevent the spread of germs.

Best Park/Playground: Beverly Park (Beverly Hills)
We love going to Beverly Park in Beverly Hills! Their toddler area is amazing. I have two very energetic boys who love to run around so the fact that it is enclosed is perfect for us. The sandbox is always a huge hit with them and I like going for family walks on their trails!
Best Family-Friendly Annual Event: Hallowe’en in Greenfield Village (Dearborn)
Hallowe’en in Greenfield Village is a can’t miss event! The train is a great ride for the little ones in addition to the live music and performances. They create such a fun environment that feels very theatrical and leaves the whole family entertained. Plus it’s another chance to show off your costumes!
Your Mom Must-Have: SNACKS
A large tote with lots of snacks!
Best FALL Destination or Event: Three Cedar Farms (Northville)
I love the fall time in Michigan and always look forward to visiting the Three Cedar Farm. There are great activities between the corn maze, hayride and searching for the perfect pumpkin in the pumpkin patch. You can’t leave without getting some of their delicious cider and donuts.
“Pat Yourself on the Back” Accomplishment: My Co-chair Position
My biggest professional accomplishment was being Co-chair of BravoBravo! As the Co-chair, I was responsible for planning and executing one of the biggest fundraisers for Michigan Opera Theatre and that the Detroit area has ever seen.
We implemented new ideas at this event that have been used many times over at events all over the City. The best part of this experience for me was to create a fun and exciting evening from beginning to end; from picking the theme and entertainment to creating the outfits for the main entrance models to wear. I was so proud of the outcome and will never forget what an awesome experience this was. Of course, I can’t take all the credit; I worked with many volunteers and staff who all helped make this event so special and a huge success.
I chaired this event year’s before my children were born, and now that I have twin boys, I am so proud to say that I am raising a family and am a working mom, which makes me feel very well-rounded and proud of the life I’ve built!
