Simple pleasures like hayrides make big memories for little kids. Hop on the hay and enjoy a short ride through the park or the orchard at one of these special events.

Enjoy a leisurely hayride as we point out some of the awesome autumn happenings within the park. We will make a pit-stop for cider and donuts.

Come, take a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch to pick your perfect pumpkin. Food, music, farm animals, educational exhibits, and children’s activities all make for a fun fall outing for all ages.

Join us for a wagon ride out to the pumpkin patch to pick out your Halloween pumpkin. On-site pumpkin carving is available. Go through the corn maze. Warm up near the fire and enjoy a cup of cider and a donut. Pumpkins are sold separately at an additional cost.

Celebrate the beginning of fall with an afternoon of fun with the Parks & Rec Department! The day includes free hayrides, farm animals, free rock-climbing wall and inflatables (don’t forget your socks) and baked goods for sale. The day will end with everyone’s favorite— a bonfire conducted by the Clawson Fire Department.

Kids ages 2-12 are invited to come in costume and ready to have fun! Enjoy creepy crafts, ghoulish games and trick or treating fun throughout the Southfield Pavilion. Hayrides will depart from the Parks & Recreation Building out to the pumpkin patch until 4 pm. The Spooky Skating Party returns to the Southfield Sports Arena from 2:30-3:50 pm. This year The Adventures of Count Spooky magic show will mesmerize guests at Boo Bash with 2 shows at 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm.

- Heritage Park is hayride central on Fridays from September 20th to November 1st between 5:30pm and 7:30pm. Rides leave every half hour.
