Looking for daily inspiration and ideas for things to do with kids this week? From at-home family fun, to festivities…
Huron-Clinton Metroparks has a holiday gift for parents looking for a new playground – the $1.3 million project at Lower Huron Metropark is complete and worth the wait!
Bundle up and get ready to play! Lower Huron Metropark’s new playground has something for everyone! The space themed space has a large creative toddler area, massive traditional structure with universally accessible slides and spaceship, a caged ninja warrior course, swings for all ages and abilities AND a climbing slide that genuinely challenges kids to reach for the stars!
The new playground is incredible and it’s sure to keep your kids busy whether they are 2 or 12. The restrooms are closed for the season, so be prepared and a Metroparks pass is required for entry. Gain FREE access to 13 Huron-Clinton Metroparks with your library card, learn how here.

When climbing is involved there is always risk of a fall. If you are ever concerned that your child has suffered a concussion, take the Concussion Clinic of DMC Children’s Hospital of Michigan’s Concussion Quiz and watch the video below for helpful tips.
