If your littles can’t resist YouTube, check out Dr. S Kids Music. Started by a metro Detroit dad, the channel features catchy, educational songs to help kids learn grammar, math and more.

Sean Strasberger started Dr. S Kids Music last year while his son, Ezra, was just starting kindergarten and everyone had to do virtual school. The school and teachers were wonderful, but he was starting to show signs of anxiety and learning wasn’t as fun at home for him.  A teacher himself, Sean decided that creating videos would give the family a fun project and help Ezra (and other kids who might also be struggling with online learning).

Combining his passion for singing and songwriting with his experience as a teacher and PhD in Education from Michigan State University, Sean creates fun, short songs to engage kids and help them learn skills they’ll need in the classroom but also at home.

The family project includes not only Sean and their son but his wife Jamie who is also a teacher and has experience with graphics and video editing.

While they enjoy the chance to be creative at home, they hope the videos will be welcomed by parents and teachers looking for safe, kid-friendly content for their kids to watch on the popular social platform.
