My husband Damond and I just celebrated our one-year anniversary on September 11th and I recently gave birth to our beautiful baby girl, Marlee Marie on November 1st. I am an award-winning public relations professional servicing clients in 10 cities including metro-Detroit at my company Guru Public Relations Events and Concierge. My husband is a successful entrepreneur and business owner of The Hair Cave.

The Breakfast Club is family orientated, the food is always delicious and the staff is friendly. What do the kids like about it? The kids love the fruit and chocolate covered strawberries that come with every meal. If you’re going on a Sunday, get their early to beat the rush otherwise the wait times can last up to 45 mins.

This recently renovated park on the East Riverfront is nice anytime of year, but in the summer the schooner-themed water park comes alive. Kids can play in water cascades, “child-activated” water cannons, wind chimes, and an array of fountains. It’s also accessible to all and even boasts a restroom and cafe.
