If you want to experience some unique winter fun, head to the Muskegon Adventure Sports Park for skating, skiing and luging!

The Muskegon Luge track is one of only FOUR tracks in the United States! The 850 foot track was designed by an Olympian and consists of six curves and two starting areas.

The Learn to Luge class rate ranges from $35 to $75 per person and is designed for first timers looking to try the sport for the first time. Each Learn to Luge sliding session is 2.5 hours and is limited to a maximum of 24 participants at a time. Participants must be at least 8 years old and be at least 48″ tall and 65 pounds. During the class, coaches will spend time with you teaching you about the equipment and how to steer and stop the luge sled. The bulk of the session will be your opportunity for free sliding before a fun and friendly competition where the fastest sliders will win a gold, silver or bronze medal.

If luging is not for you, you can also skate on the natural ice rink or skate through the woods on the one-of-a-kind ice skating trail takes you on a 1/4 mile figure-eight loop through the white pine forest. A rink pass is $10 and skate rental is $8 per person.

There’s also a 1.5 mile track for cross country skiers and four different loops for those who want to snow shoe. Daily passes cost $10 and equipment rental is $8.
