The YMCA (multiple locations)

For generations The YMCA has offered safe, affordable and fun camp exeperiences for children and their families. At Y Summer Day Camp, kids make new friends, accomplish goals and learn new skills, and experience belonging in a way that only the Y can provide. Every new experience comes with a chance to learn and grow. At the Y, we strive to give every child and teen opportunities to test their own limits and explore their potential. Financial assistance may be provided to eligible families, based upon need and available donor support.

 

Blake’s Apple Summer Camp (Armada)

Blake Farm’s Appleseed Camp is a three day summer camp that offers an opportunity to educate children about agriculture and farming while providing the fun and unique opportunity to explore the outdoors, meet new friends, discover new interests and create memories that last a lifetime. There’s so much to do at camp including learning about growing crops, planting vegetables, daily crafts, playtime at Funland, visiting animals and learning to make donuts!

 

Studio A Dance Camp (Birmingham & Walled Lake)

At Studio A Dance Camp kids will work on their dance skills and technique, as well as exploring their own creativity!  Dance camp is always a good time, from choosing different styles of dance classes each day, to arts and crafts, and even the opportunity to choreograph your own dances.

 

Summer Learning Experiences (Detroit)

Detroit Public Schools Community District’s Summer Learning Experiences 2022 offers families and students great options for summer fun. Whether parents are seeking academic enrichment or recreational activities, current students and those enrolling for the fall of 2022 will have an opportunity to participate in academic enrichment in the morning and fun physical activities in the afternoon at various school and community sites throughout the City of Detroit. Academic activities will occur Monday – Thursday in the morning, followed by recreational activities in the afternoon.

 

Michigan Science Center (Detroit)

The Michigan Science Center offers an in-person camp experience for learners in grades 1-8 this summer. Each week will feature different activities designed around a central theme, with interactive activities designed to connect campers’ discoveries to current scientific research and progress.

 

MSU Tollgate Farm (Novi)

Camp at MSU Tollgate Farm is a fun and enriching opportunity to experience the natural world hands-on. With 160 acres of beautiful farm and forest to explore, the camp offers the best in farm and food, discovery science, and natural resource exploration.

 

iCode (Novi & Troy)

iCode Computer Science Camps deliver unprecedented creative exploration into core STEAM skills over weeklong experiences. The energy is high as children gain soft and hard skills in our proprietary Computer Science Camps. Red Piano Music Studio (Rochester Hills)

Red Piano Music Studio offers creative, fun music lessons that inspire students to both learn and play during themed summer camps for kids and teens.

Troy Gym

During Troy Gym’s School’s Out Camps, kids will play & explore in TG1, TG2, and of course in the famous Ninja Room! They will take breaks mid-morning & mid-afternoon with a snack (provided by parents) and a craft. All day campers will break up the day with lunch (provided by parents).
