What a year it has been. Celebrate the end of 2021 and welcome in 2022 at a New (and Noon) Year’s Eve celebrations with ball drops,  firework displays, pool parties and more!

 

NEW YEAR’S EVE KIDS COUNTDOWN – CANCELLED

@ Beacon Park, Detroit 

Dress to impress at this event which will offer all the fun and excitement of a traditional New Year’s Eve party, including a countdown, while allowing you and the kiddos to be home and tucked safely into bed long before the clock strikes midnight. Visit Beacon Park between 1pm and 5pm for food, photos, crafts, games and live entertainment.

 

NOON YEAR’S EVE

@ Market Center Park, Southgate

Join the free family event featuring crafts, music, Juice Toast at Noon and a Balloon Drop. Elsa, Anna and Captain America will be helping us ring in the new year.

 

ROCKIN’ NEW YEAR’S EVE

@ Escape, Troy

Ring in 2022 at Escape! You can reserve 2 1/2 hours of bowling, $10 gaming card, 2 slices pizza, unlimited soda, party favors and laser tag! A family friendly party loaded with fun!

 

ROLL IN THE NEW YEAR

@ Pinz Bowling Center, South Lyon

New Year Eve family packs includes 2 hours of cosmic bowling, fun & music, shoe rental, party favors, non-alcoholic toast & door prizes. Lanes can hold up to six people per lane.

 

BELLE ISLE NEW YEAR’S EVE FAMILY FUN RUN/WALK

@ Belle Isle Detroit

The Children’s Fun Run is a short, one mile route, which starts in front of the Belle Isle Casino, goes around the Scott Fountain, and returns to the Casino. The annual 5k run will also take place. You can choose to participate in person or virtually!

 

KIDS NYE PARTY – CANCELLED

@ Detroit City Fieldhouse, Detroit

The toddler NYE ball drop is back! Join in for a family friendly New Years Eve party at the Clubhouse! We’ll have open soccer fields, kids snacks and meals and some delicious drinks for adults as well. “Ball Drop” will be at 4pm! No tickets needed.

 

KID’Z DROP CELEBRATION

@ Canterbury Village, Orion Township

The kids’ Mitten Drop runs from 4pm – 7pm with balloon drop at 6:30pm. The fun includes friendly character visits, Ghostbuster’s Detroit visit, kid’s karaoke, fire show, kid’s trivia competition, hot cocoa and s’mores, carriage rides, food trucks and more!

 

NEW YEAR EVEN PARTY

@ Castaway Play, Howell

Castaway Play Cafes New Years Eve Party! Your ticket includes unlimited structure play and bounce, dance party, DJ, pizza buffet, balloon drop, and party favors! What a fun way to ring in the new year!

Bring your family and friends together for an early New Year’s Celebration! Join us at the Kirksey Recreation Center and spend time climbing the rock wall, swimming, doing crafts, a balloon drop, and more! We will be providing pizza and treats.

Skate to the best music all night long! Family Top 40 & Hip Hop!  Admission includes skate rental, glow stick, party hats & horns for the mock countdown.

 

HARRY POTTER HOLIDAY SKATE

@ Riley Ice Rink, Farmington

Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Riley Park Ice Rink’s Harry Potter and the Holiday Skate. The event will feature a 9 p.m. ball drop and another ball drop at midnight. The midnight ball drop will be from one of the Farmington Public Safety Fire Trucks. There will be a Horcurx hunt, costume contest, butter beer and more. Riley Park does not have skate rentals, but a limited supply of skates on hand to borrow.

 

ROCKIN’ NYE BALL DROP

@ Downtown Wyandotte

The festival is moving off Biddle Avenue to the corner of 1st & Elm streets to create a “Celebration Square”. The new area will feature a massive heated tent, double the size of the years prior, for an indoor concert. There will also be an outdoor stage with two ball drops, games, fire-pits, food trucks and so much more!
