If you are looking to switch up your bedtime routine, the Sesame Street Workshop is launching The Not Too Late…
We will never be able to repay the health care workers who are working tirelessly and at great personal risk to care for the people in our community during this COVID-19 pandemic. We know it’s scary and exhausting (mentally and physically) and we are so grateful to each and every person who is putting it all on the line for our safety at home. We also know that it’s extremely hard to work on a holiday (even if Easter won’t be celebrated quite like we’re used to), so we want to find a way to help our health care workers celebrate Easter AND show our appreciation.
To show our gratitude and perhaps bring a little cheer, we invite our LittleGuide community to join us in making a $10 donation (or whatever amount is feasible for your family) to provide as many individually packaged meals to the medical staff as we’re able. 100% of the donations collected will be used to purchase and coordinate the delivery of individual meals to the healthcare workers at Beaumont Hospitals throughout Easter weekend.
As of Monday, March 31st Beaumont Health is treating over 2,500 patients with COVID-19 and we know the number will continue to increase in the days ahead. We hope you’ll join us in offering a small token of appreciation to the medical techs, nurses and doctors of Beaumont Health. You can also show your support with these actions:
- Send an eGreeting
- Use the “Thank you” Facebook Frame
- Display Super Beau the Bear in your window
- Tie a blue ribbon around a tree
