Franklin Athletic Club hosts a variety of summer camps to fit all ages, interests and schedules. From Fortnite and Superhero camps, to Princess and Gymnastics camps – they truly have it all – not to mention, tennis courts, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, bounce houses and more!

Fun and Games Camp (Ages 3-11)
Campers will swim in our beautiful outdoor pools, play games in the gym, make arts and crafts, have fun outdoors on our large play structure, play games on the tennis courts, and explore our giant inflatable sports arena and double slide. Weekly descriptions are for campers who will be registered for 5 full days. Campers will visit exciting enrichment classes throughout the week as well as in-house field trips. Each day’s program and schedule will bring different activities and are subject to change at any time. Our friendly and enthusiastic staff will keep your kids smiling!
Camp Tiny Tot (Ages 2-3)
A camp tailored just for toddlers ages 2-3 years old. We will do mini organized activities such as coloring, dancing, singing, playing, and some water fun, all while participating in the themes and activities of our Fun and Games Camp. Potty training is not required.
Our exciting camp will take your swimmer to the next level of swimming with instruction, games, free play, and so much more! Through small and large group lessons, campers will be split into appropriate age and skill groups. Each group will then work on the appropriate skills for their level including areas such as floating, kicking, treading, various strokes, and breathing.
Tennis Camp (Ages 5-10)
Our Tennis Camp incorporates the 10 and under tennis format. This confidence-building play format designed for kids 10 and under makes it easier for kids to pick up a racquet and have fun right away—even if they’ve never played tennis before. This program is for both beginner and intermediate players.
All Sports Camp (Ages 7-12)
Date: June 17-21
Come and experience the wide world of sports! With everything from soccer to basketball to dodgeball and more, this fun and energetic camp is sure to keep your athlete busy.
Nerf Commanders Camp (Ages 7-12)
Date: July 8-12
Put your Nerf skills to the test! Join us for a week of target practice, combat training, and Nerf wars as you compete against your fellow campers to carry out secret missions. We will provide Nerf equipment.
Pistons Academy Camp (Grades 4-10)
Date: July 15-19 and August 19-23
Campers will work on skill development in the morning hours and play games and contests in the afternoon. Coaches will facilitate special training opportunities where kids will learn everything from how to be a good teammate to rule comprehension. For more advanced players, the camp offers strength and conditioning programs to help prepare them for the demands of middle school and high school basketball.
Flag Football Camp (Ages 7-12)
Date: July 8-12
Flag football offers all the fun of tackle football without the same risk of injury. This week long camp provides drills, daily skills challengers, and competitive game play, all in a safe and supportive environment. This is an all-inclusive camp which means that all participants play no mater what their skill level.
Detroit Pistons Elite Skills Camp (Grades 4-10)
Date: July 29 – August 2
A special camp designed for the more serious player. This camp will offer advanced training in several areas including footwork, conditioning, shooting mechanics and rule comprehension. All campers receive a ticket offer to a 2019-20 Pistons home game.
Mini Mights Basketball Camp (Ages 4-7)
Date: August 12-16
Spend the week learning the basics of basketball and developing a love for the game. Skills including ball handling, shooting on lower rims, passing, and an introduction to the rules will be taught in an energetic and fun way. You can never start too young!
Volleyball Camp (Ages 7-14)
Date: August 12-16
Bump! Set! Spike! Are you game? Meet us at the net! Work on basic techniques, build new skills, meet new people and play a game you love!
Franklin Hoops Basketball Camp (Grades 2-9)
Date: August 26-29
This fun 4-day camp will feature skill development, competitive games, and plenty of prizes and giveaways! Areas of focus will include offensive and defensive concepts, ball handling, shooting, rule comprehension, and more. Campers will compete in full-court games, shooting competitions, and multiple contests.
