Get Ready For Back To School With Detroit Public Schools Community District

Detroit Public Schools Community District (DPSCD) will kickoff the new year with a Back-To-School Expo on Saturday, August 28th from 10am to 3pm open to all families, parents, students and the community. Every school will be in attendance offering families a great chance to meet school leadership, learn about programs and offerings, and talk with enrollment specialists to ensure your family is ready for the 2021-2022 school year.

 

In addition, fun activities, games, food and giveaways will be provided while supplies last. Partners will provide immunizations, health screenings, exceptional student education support and much more.

 

What to expect:

  • Learn about great programs & meet school leaders
  • Enroll onsite – PreK, K-12 and Exceptional Student Education
  • Receive free family services such as immunizations, haircuts and health screenings
  • Enjoy free food, games and giveaways while supplies last

Find more family fun with DPSCD at Socially Distanced Summer on the Block parties. There will be free activities, lunch to-go and all kids will receive a FREE fun pack with books, fun pad, bubbles, puzzles, sidewalk chalk and Family Engagement Activities.
