School's out for MLK Day and if you're looking for places to go, here's a list of what's open around…
School’s out, camp’s in. If you need help entertaining the kids at home, check out these camp kits from some of our favorite places in Metro Detroit.
An artistic leap from coloring books and crayons, ArtBox is the next level of creative exploration for kids of all ages—developed by the professional, enthusiastic, and talented team at the Ann Arbor Art Center. The goal of ArtBox is to provide a creative outlet during our shared experience of staying at home. We are so excited to watch this program grow and connect us as a community of makers! Cost: $85
The BBAC Children’s Art Activity Kit contains projects suitable for ages 5 & up (with adult help for the little ones). Instructions & all materials + mailing costs are included. Cost: $15
Art Kits come with NEW art making materials for each day of the camp. Unlike traditional camps, our Art Kits mean that campers have the supplies to make more art when class (and camp!) is over. Materials for each day are clearly labeled and ready for campers. Cost: $100
Camp-at-Home is specially designed to reduce the amount of time campers spend on a screen and encourage children to spend their summer outside exploring and discovering STEM and the natural world. Chose from STEM and/or Art Starter kits. Cost: $35-40
MSU Tollgate has two Camp-in-a-Box options, Garden and Survival. The box includes fun activities, supplies, and lessons that promote curiosity and learning. Cost: $45
