COUNTY OAKLAND IRISH FEST

The County Oakland Irish Fest is a free street fair with music that celebrates Irish Culture in Oakland County.There are two music stages, Irish dancers, pipers, a Cultural Tent and the “Men’s Best Legs in a Kilt” contest. The street is filled with Irish and Non-Irish vendors, food, a beer tent, as well as a children’s area with crafts, games and a fairy door scavenger hunt.

 

PLYMOUTH FALL FESTIVAL

@ Kellogg Park, Plymouth

The Plymouth Fall Festival hosts carnival rides, a large craft show, car show, pet show, live music, pancake breakfast, chicken dinner, bingo, rides, and so much more! Admission is FREE, while some attractions have individual charges.

 

ARTS & APPLES FESTIVAL

@ Rochester Municipal Park, Rochester

This three-day fine art festival includes over 250 fine art vendors, over 14 live performance groups and free kids’ art activities throughout the weekend, and twenty food vendors from across the continent.

Melissa Dettloff is a Detroit illustrator and screen printer. Through a display of Melissa’s work and the opportunity for hands-on screen printing, museum visitors can learn more about the screen printing process and how to print with drawings. Guests will be able to screen print layers of Melissa’s imagery and embellish the prints with their own drawings, if they choose.
